Containment Application Isolators

Overview

The EnGuard containment or solid dosage workstations include a wide variety of barrier/isolators that provide safe containment and eliminate cross contamination. These workstations are designed primarily for small volume processes including laboratory testing and clinical trial investigations.

EnGuard containment workstations are single chambers with ergonomic glove port access to areas where operator intervention is required. Process equipment can be removed using a sliding platform which makes maintence, major changeovers and cleaning all much easier. These workstations can, in some instances, accommodate more than one piece of equipment when the ergonomics and equipment configurations allow.

Standard Features

These workstations operate under negative pressure that is both monitored and alarmed. The framework of these isolators is constructed of 316L stainless steel. Viewing areas are molded from the best quality scratch resistant engineered plastic. All gasket materials are FDA approved. Both entering and discharging airflows pass through HEPA filtration. Interior surfaces are smooth and easily cleanable. All ceiling, wall and floor junctures are coved. All welds are ground smooth and meet cGMP cleaning standards. Lighting, where required, is mounted on the exterior of the enclosure. A utility panel manifold is provided for easy access to any required utility. Transfer of materials into and out of enclosure is accomplished by airlocks (either static or dynamic) and/or bag rings.
